What to know
This is a coastal stay, not a central Fukuoka hotel
seven x seven Itoshima is in Nishinoura on Fukuoka City’s western coast, near Sakurai Futamigaura. Its value comes from the sea, large rooms and a slower hotel-centered stay rather than quick access to Hakata, Tenjin or Fukuoka Airport.
The official site estimates about 45 minutes by car from Hakata Station. Klook’s shorter map estimates should not be treated as a traffic guarantee. Weekend coast traffic, weather and the time needed to collect or park a car can extend the journey.
Book at least two nights if you want both a relaxed hotel day and wider Itoshima sightseeing. A one-night stay can become mostly check-in, dinner, sleep and checkout when public transport controls the schedule.
What to know
Public transport works only with timetable discipline
The hotel gives two public-transport patterns: a local bus taking about 30 minutes from JR Kyudai-Gakkentoshi Station, or the West Coast Liner taking about 70 minutes from Hakata Bus Terminal. Both use PALMBEACH stop, about one minute from the property.
Those are journey estimates, not service frequencies. Search the operator timetable for the exact day, direction and season before paying, then save the last practical return. A missed coastal bus can create a long taxi journey.
There is no hotel airport shuttle. From Fukuoka Airport, route through the city or arrange a car rather than using an OTA’s driving-time icon as evidence of a transfer service.
What to know
Free parking does not mean a reserved space
The official site lists 52 free parking spaces. Its FAQ says that when they are full, staff may direct guests to nearby paid coin parking.
Ask whether one space is associated with the selected room, especially for a large group arriving in multiple cars. Klook’s general parking icon does not establish reserved, covered or oversized-vehicle parking.
If renting a car, compare the hotel rate plus rental, tolls, fuel and parking with a city hotel and day trip. The car provides meaningful value only if you use it to connect coastal stops that are awkward by bus.
What to know
Room names hide major bed and capacity differences
The official standard category currently ranges from a 53 m² Standard Twin for up to four guests with two queen beds to a 112 m² Superior Terrace Bunk for up to eight with two queens, two singles and two daybeds.
Suite names vary just as much. The Terrace Chill Suite sleeps four on two queens, while larger suites can sleep six or eight using different combinations of queens, singles, daybeds and Japanese futons.
Enter every adult and child on Klook, open the bed configuration and compare it with the official room name. Maximum occupancy is not a promise that every guest receives a conventional bed or equal privacy.
What to know
A balcony, view bath or jacuzzi is room-specific
The property markets terraces, view baths and rooftop jacuzzis, but these are not universal facilities in every room. The official room list distinguishes standard, terrace, view-bath, rooftop-jacuzzi and conceptual products.
Do not infer a private jacuzzi from photographs of another suite or from the shared wellness area. Confirm the exact room name, indoor floor area, balcony area, bed setup and private feature in the final booking summary.
Ocean view and sunset quality can vary by building, level, weather and orientation. Contact the hotel if an unobstructed view is the purpose of the stay; a request remains subject to the booked category and availability.
What to know
Kitchen equipment supports groups and longer stays
The official room information lists a refrigerator-freezer, microwave, kettle, cookware, knives, cutting boards, dishes, glasses and cutlery. This is more useful than a decorative kitchenette, especially for breakfast, children or a multi-night group.
That equipment does not mean every food item, seasoning or cleaning supply is provided. Shop before reaching the coast if your plan depends on a specific meal, and follow the room’s waste and cooking rules.
The accommodation terms prohibit bringing flame-based appliances such as cassette stoves and charcoal grills. Use only permitted room equipment and do not move a private meal onto a balcony without written approval.
What to know
Pool and sauna access has real conditions
After an April 2026 renewal, the official site advertises a guest-only pool and mixed-gender Finnish-style sauna. Current hours are 7:00–24:00 with final entry at 23:30, and swimwear is required.
Minors may use the sauna only with a parent or guardian. The hotel says tattoos no larger than five centimetres, or multiple tattoos totaling no more than one palm, can be uncovered; larger tattoos must be completely covered with a rash guard or tattoo cover.
Facility hours do not guarantee operation on every stay. The homepage displayed a sauna-maintenance notice dated July 21, 2026 when checked. Open the latest notice and selected rate inclusions rather than booking solely for the wellness area.

Breakfast is a separate rate decision
The official dining page lists Japanese salmon, bakery-based Western, pancake and rice-ball breakfasts, with the breakfast lounge open 7:00–12:00. Menus, serving format and prices can change.
Klook currently shows cooked-to-order breakfast as a paid option and may sell both room-only and breakfast rates. Match the same room and cancellation terms before deciding whether the breakfast premium is good value for the group.
Confirm children’s breakfast charges, reservation need and allergy handling directly. A kitchen can make room-only practical, but nearby early-morning alternatives are more limited than in central Fukuoka.
What to know
Daily housekeeping is deliberately limited
The official FAQ says there is no full daily cleaning. Towels and rubbish are handled, while bed making and room cleaning are provided once for stays of four nights or more. Additional cleaning and linen changes are available for a fee.
Some room types have a washing machine, not every room. Check the exact Klook room facilities if laundry matters, and do not infer a machine from a review of another category.
This service model suits independent groups but may disappoint travelers expecting a conventional full-service resort. Keep the room organized and clarify towel, rubbish and cleaning requests at check-in.
What to know
The hotel does not publish a luggage-storage service
The hotel FAQ and accommodation terms say it does not accept or store guest luggage, including advance deliveries, before check-in or after checkout. That is a decisive constraint for a remote public-transport stay.
Do not courier a suitcase to the property without written acceptance. If arriving before 15:00, keep luggage with you, use storage earlier in Fukuoka or plan a rental car that can safely hold it out of sight.
The same issue applies after 11:00 checkout. A final coastal outing is easier with a car or a deliberate city-station storage plan than with large bags on an infrequent bus.
What to know
Add Fukuoka City accommodation tax to the total
Because the property is inside Fukuoka City, the official accommodation tax is ¥200 per person per night when the taxable room charge is below ¥20,000 and ¥500 when it is ¥20,000 or more. The rate includes the prefectural portion.
The threshold applies to the accommodation charge per person per night, not simply the displayed room total. Meals and consumption tax are handled separately under the city’s calculation rules.
Check whether Klook collects the tax or the hotel charges it on site. Also compare the final USD charge, card exchange rate, breakfast, extra guests, parking fallback and cancellation policy rather than using a crossed-out headline price.
What to know
Final booking checklist
Confirm the room’s exact official name, guest count, beds, futons or daybeds, indoor and balcony area, private bath or jacuzzi, view, washing machine and cancellation deadline. Then compare room-only and breakfast totals.
Plan the complete arrival: airport or city departure, bus or car, PALMBEACH stop, parking fallback, 15:00 check-in and no luggage storage. For public transport, save both arrival and departure timetables.
Before travel, open hotel notices for pool, sauna, dining and maintenance. Bring swimwear if using wellness facilities, follow tattoo rules and budget the Fukuoka City tax. Terms may change after this July 27, 2026 review.
