What this site is for
This is not an encyclopedia of everything to see in Japan. It focuses on moments where unclear information can cost a traveler time, money or confidence: entry preparation, phone setup, airport arrival, tickets, payments, bookings, luggage and urgent help.
Who operates it
Japan Travel Tech is operated by 合同会社PROPS (PROPS LLC) in Japan. PROPS LLC is based in Osaka, which is the home base for the site's editorial work. The editorial contact is info@props-with.jp.
Why Osaka comes first
We cover destinations across Japan, but Osaka and the wider Kansai region are our starting point. That means giving added attention to KIX arrivals, Osaka's transport hubs and neighborhoods, local attractions, places to stay, regional passes and realistic day trips—while keeping the existing nationwide guidance available.
Current evidence stage
The current edition is built from official government, tourism authority and transport-operator information. We do not label a result as field-tested or write “in our experience” unless PROPS LLC has actually performed and documented that test.
Where the site is going
Future field tests will add dated evidence from real devices, routes and services in Japan. Official rules and firsthand observations will remain visibly separated so readers know what each claim is based on.
