The hotel also sits above Don Quijote Naha Tsubogawa on the first and second floors. Guests can reach the store by elevator for groceries, daily necessities, medicine, cosmetics, baby products and souvenirs. This is a practical base for a longer stay, but it is not a resort with a beach, pool or on-site hot spring.

Choose it when the room will function as part of the travel system. If you only need a bed for one night and plan to spend all day around Kokusai Street, compare simpler or more central hotels before paying for facilities you will not use.

The official room list has five non-smoking categories: Residential Double, Residential Twin, Residential Family Room, Residential Family Room with bunk beds, and Premier Riverside Twin. That is more specific than the chain-wide promise. Tokyu Stay’s general guide says microwaves are standard and many—but not necessarily all—rooms have kitchenettes. For this property, use the Okinawa-Naha room table and the exact Klook room name as the controlling comparison.

A kitchenette does not promise a full household kitchen or every piece of cookware. Check the selected room’s current inventory and ask the hotel about any item essential to your cooking plan rather than assuming an oven, freezer or complete cookware set.

Residential Double is 21 m² with one 1,600 × 2,000 mm bed for up to two guests. Residential Twin is 23 m² with 1,100 × 2,000 mm beds for up to two. These are the compact choices for a couple or two travelers who want separate beds.

The standard Residential Family Room is 31 m² for two to four guests, with 1,100 mm-wide main beds and a separate bath and toilet. The hotel says extra 900 mm-wide beds are used to reach four-person occupancy, so four adults should compare the actual sleeping plan rather than judging the room only by floor area.

The 31 m² bunk-bed family category is listed for two to six guests and also has a separate bath and toilet. Premier Riverside Twin is 59 m² for two to four, with a separate living room and bedroom, dining table, kitchenette, European-style tub and extra beds for the higher occupancy. The cleaning schedule matters on a multi-night stay

For consecutive nights, the hotel’s simple cleaning is provided on request by placing the notice outside the door. It covers replacement face towels, bath towels, bathmat and nightwear, plus trash removal. It does not include making the bed or cleaning the whole room.

The hotel is at 3-2-1 Tsubogawa, about a three-minute walk from Tsubogawa Station on the Okinawa Urban Monorail, commonly called Yui Rail. The operator estimates Naha Bus Terminal at about ten minutes on foot and Naha Airport at about 15 minutes by car, subject to traffic.

Tsubogawa gives direct monorail access toward the airport and central Naha without requiring a rental car on arrival day. Save the station-to-hotel route because the final walk and hotel entrance still matter with suitcases.

The hotel describes Kokusai Street as about a 15-minute walk. That can be useful, but it is not the same as staying directly in the busiest shopping section. Travelers who expect to return repeatedly during the day should compare the extra walking with a Kencho-mae, Miebashi or Makishi base.

Parking is ¥1,500 for 24 hours with no re-entry

The affiliated indoor parking structure is on the third and fourth floors and has 123 spaces. The hotel’s current page states ¥1,500 including tax per day, while its detailed price notice defines the period as 24 hours after entry and says re-entry is not allowed.

The hotel cannot reserve or guarantee a space. If the structure is full, guests must use nearby coin parking, whose price and conditions are separate. Pay the affiliated parking fee at the hotel front desk.

A no-re-entry ticket is suitable when the car will remain parked during a Naha stay. It is less attractive for repeated island drives, airport runs or evening outings. Confirm current height or vehicle restrictions directly before arriving with a large van, because the public English page does not list them.

Breakfast and same-building food options

Kanasan Dining on the fifth floor serves a Japanese-Western buffet from 06:30 to 10:30, with last order at 10:00. The hotel lists the price as ¥2,300 including tax and highlights Okinawan dishes and a build-your-own seafood rice bowl. These details were checked on July 26, 2026.

A breakfast-included room rate can be convenient on early sightseeing days, but compare it against the room-only rate for the actual number of diners. The fixed restaurant price is a reference, not proof that every package adds exactly the same amount.

The in-room microwave and kitchenette create a genuine alternative. Don Quijote in the building and nearby stores make it easier to buy breakfast or simple meals, though the room’s appliance and utensil limits still apply.

Family facilities reduce friction, but quantities are limited

The hotel lists free loan items including a baby bed, baby bath, diaper-disposal can, bed guard, baby soap and infant toilet seat. Children’s slippers, body soap and toothbrushes are also available. Request important items when booking because quantities are limited.

Baby beds are restricted to infants under one year and may not be usable in every room type. A request is not a guarantee until the hotel confirms it, and the room’s stated occupancy still controls the reservation.

The Sky Trip kids’ space is open from 11:00 to 21:00 and combines cushioned play equipment, projected interactive scenes and a small bouldering area. The fitness room is listed from 06:30 to 21:00. Both can help during bad weather, but they are supporting hotel facilities rather than substitutes for a full attraction.

Okinawa accommodation tax starts in February 2027

Okinawa Prefecture’s official tax page says the accommodation tax begins on February 1, 2027. The standard rate is 2% of the tax-exclusive room-only accommodation charge per person per night, capped at ¥2,000. The taxable base is rounded down in ¥1,000 units, and meals, activities and consumption tax are excluded.

That tax does not apply to a July or August 2026 stay. For a stay on or after the start date, do not assume the Klook total already includes it: check the final fee disclosure and be prepared for collection by the property.

Klook also displays a generic warning that some hot-spring properties may collect bathing tax. Tokyu Stay Okinawa Naha does not advertise an on-site hot spring, so this guide does not add a bathing-tax charge to its budget.
