Before you book

Make these decisions in order.

  1. 01

Match Klook hotel 445660 and 3-6-19 Nakasu so you do not book The BREAKFAST HOTEL Fukuoka Tenjin.

  2. 02

Choose buffet, takeout breakfast or room-only from the exact rate name; these products are not interchangeable.

  3. 03

Select a room from its bed count, floor area, capacity and bath type—not from a river-view photo.

  4. 04

Use Nakasu-Kawabata Exit 4 and allow extra time beyond the hotel’s train and walk estimates.

  5. 05

Add Fukuoka accommodation tax, child charges, parking and any laundry cost before comparing totals.

What to know

First, distinguish Nakasu from Fukuoka Tenjin

This article covers The BREAKFAST HOTEL Fukuoka Nakasu at 3-6-19 Nakasu, Hakata-ku. Its Klook listing number is 445660. The official operator also runs The BREAKFAST HOTEL Fukuoka Tenjin, which is a different property with a different address, station route and breakfast.

Search results can shorten both names to “The BREAKFAST HOTEL Fukuoka.” Check that Nakasu, hotel 445660 and the address all agree before comparing a rate or following a map pin.

The Nakasu property has 134 rooms and is fully non-smoking, including the grounds. A room photo, breakfast review or service notice from the Tenjin branch should not be transferred to this booking.

What to know

The buffet runs in four 45-minute sessions

Breakfast is not an unrestricted three-hour sitting. The official schedule is 07:00–07:45, 07:45–08:30, 08:30–09:15 and 09:15–10:00, with final food service at 09:50.

The price checked on July 26, 2026 is ¥2,500 including tax, and children age 5 and under eat free. The buffet is for hotel guests only.

A room-only guest may ask to add breakfast at check-in, but the hotel can refuse once capacity is reached. Travelers booking mainly for the seafood bowl or French toast should reserve a buffet-included rate instead of depending on same-day availability.

What to know

Buffet and takeout breakfast are different products

The hotel also sells a dedicated takeout-breakfast plan using its entrance-side kitchen car. That plan provides a breakfast box; it does not include entry to the restaurant buffet.

The official terms say the takeout plan cannot be upgraded to the buffet, cannot be refunded when unused and cannot be added on the day of arrival. When buffet plans are sold out, the takeout plan may be the only breakfast product offered.

Guests on a buffet-included plan can exchange a ticket for selected kitchen-car items, but the order must be placed within the same 45-minute breakfast session. Read the selected Klook rate name and inclusions rather than relying on the generic word “breakfast.”

What to know

Signature dishes are not fixed inventory

The official buffet highlights a build-your-own seafood bowl using seasonal fish from the Nagahama market, French toast made with branded eggs, egg over rice, local vegetables and Fukuoka mentaiko.

The hotel states that fish changes with season and supply. A promotional image demonstrates the style of the buffet but does not guarantee a specific fish, topping quantity or identical presentation on the booked morning.

From May through the end of July 2026, the official page advertises a seasonal early-summer menu. A stay after July 31 should not expect those named dishes unless the hotel publishes a new extension or seasonal program.

What to know

Smoothies are temporarily suspended

The property announced on May 28, 2026 that its smoothie service was temporarily suspended because it could not obtain the required cups. As of the July 26 review, the official breakfast page still shows the suspension and no restart date.

This does not cancel the wider buffet, but it matters when a listing or older review promotes smoothies as a signature inclusion. Do not treat archived photos as current inventory.

For food allergies, use the hotel’s dedicated allergy policy and contact the property before booking. A buffet’s variety does not guarantee avoidance of cross-contact or a safe substitute for a specific allergy.

What to know

The basic Double is 13m²

The standard Double is 13m² with one 140cm Simmons bed and a maximum of two guests. It is the most compact published room and is most practical for one traveler or a couple packing lightly.

The regular Twin is 15m² with two 110cm beds, while the Airweave Twin is also 15m² with two 110cm mattresses and limited inventory. Verify the bed count because a translated “double room for two” is not a two-bed room.

The Superior Twin is 21m² with two 110cm beds. The Superior Double is also 21m² but has one 210cm bed. Travelers wanting separate beds should never infer the layout from floor area alone.

What to know

Top-floor rooms are specialized group products

The Royal Twin is a 31m² top-floor room with two 140cm beds, two 110cm loft beds and an open-air bath; the property lists it for two to six adults.

A Japanese-Western Suite began accepting stays from July 23, 2026. The current room page lists one 31m² room for two to eight guests, with two 120cm bunk beds, two loft sleeping spaces and two futons in a tatami area.

These layouts are not standard extra-bed arrangements. Confirm the exact sleeping allocation, child count and bath arrangement for every guest. The newest Japanese inventory may appear before an English summary page is fully updated.

What to know

River view is a request, not a room-wide guarantee

The hotel says some rooms face the Hakata River and may show Nakasu scenery or a displayed Yamakasa float. It does not label every room as river view.

The current room page says a river-view regular Twin can be prepared on request when limited inventory is available. A request is not a confirmed room category unless the final reservation explicitly guarantees it.

Do not pay a higher rate because a gallery contains a river photo. Compare the written room name, floor area, bed count and view guarantee in the selected rate.

What to know

Child stays have age and capacity rules

The hotel FAQ allows children age 0–5 to share existing beds free, up to two children. Children age 6 and over are charged the adult lodging rate. This is more specific than a marketplace statement that all ages are welcome.

Breakfast is also free through age 5, but the room’s safe capacity and sleeping layout still apply. Enter each child’s age on Klook and verify the final occupancy rather than omitting a free co-sleeping child.

Since February 2026, the hotel has offered children’s shampoo, body soap, toothbrushes and slippers, but supplies are limited and cannot be reserved. Guests age 15–17 staying without a guardian need parental consent; children under 15 generally require a guardian.

What to know

Use Nakasu-Kawabata Exit 4

The official walking route starts at Fukuoka City Subway Nakasu-Kawabata Station Exit 4 and is estimated at two minutes. The illustrated route uses Exit 4 escalators, turns by Don Quijote and continues to the hotel.

The hotel estimates the subway ride at about ten minutes from Fukuoka Airport, four minutes from Hakata Station and two minutes from Tenjin Station before the final walk. These figures are train and walking estimates, not door-to-door guarantees.

Airport immigration, baggage, ticketing, platform finding and waiting time are additional. Save the address offline because Nakasu nightlife signage and similarly named hotels can make a name-only map search less reliable.

What to know

The coin laundry was removed in May 2026

The hotel published a coin-laundry removal notice on May 25, 2026. Travelers should no longer choose this property expecting an on-site self-service washer and dryer shown in older listings or reviews.

The current FAQ still tells guests to ask the front desk for a laundry service. That is not the same as a coin laundry: confirm the price, turnaround, accepted garments and operating days after arrival.

This distinction matters for a multi-night Kyushu trip. If same-day self-service washing is essential, choose accommodation that explicitly confirms a current coin laundry or plan a nearby laundromat before booking.

What to know

Late arrival and baggage have cutoffs

Check-in begins at 15:00 and checkout is 11:00. The hotel asks guests arriving after 22:00 to contact the front desk and warns that a reservation may be cancelled if the guest has not contacted the hotel by midnight.

Guest-only baggage storage is available from the check-in day through 21:00 on the checkout day. The FAQ excludes valuables and fragile items. It accepts advance parcels when the guest name and check-in date are written on the label, but not cash-on-delivery or collect-on-delivery packages.

The entrance locks after 01:00, but staying guests can unlock it with their key card. Carry the card when returning from Nakasu late at night.

What to know

Free extras have operating limits

Soft drinks are available in the first-floor restaurant 24 hours, except that 07:00–10:00 access is limited to breakfast customers. This is a guest service, not a public all-day café.

The free late-night “welcome home soup” runs 21:30–23:00 on the first floor, changes seasonally and ends when supplies run out. It should be treated as a bonus, not a guaranteed dinner replacement.

The shampoo and bath-salt bar, currency-exchange machine and rental items are also operational services rather than room entitlements. Limited items such as adapters, chargers and children’s amenities cannot be reserved.

What to know

Partner parking does not allow free re-entry

The hotel has no dedicated parking. Its official partner is gate’s parking at 3-7-30 Nakasu, with 129 spaces and no reservations. A full partner lot does not create a guaranteed alternative.

The hotel rate checked on July 26, 2026 is ¥2,000 from 14:00 to 13:00 the following day. The facility is closed 22:00–08:00, and leaving and re-entering during the stay triggers a new charge.

Present the parking ticket at check-in. Modified vehicles and cars with roof racks may be refused even within nominal dimensions, and the property provides no motorcycle parking.

What to know

Add Fukuoka accommodation tax

Fukuoka City accommodation tax is charged per person per night. For a taxable accommodation charge below ¥20,000 it is ¥200; at ¥20,000 or more it is ¥500. These totals include the Fukuoka Prefecture portion.

The prefecture states that age does not create an exemption when a lodging charge is imposed for that guest. A free co-sleeping child with no lodging charge is therefore different from a charged child.

Check whether the selected Klook rate collects the tax online or leaves it for the property. Klook’s generic nationwide city-tax range is not the calculation for this Fukuoka address.

What to know

How to compare the final Klook rate

Enter the real dates, every adult and every child’s age. Match hotel 445660, the Nakasu address, room name, floor area, bed count, maximum occupancy and any written river-view guarantee.

Then identify the breakfast product: restaurant buffet, takeout box or room-only. Check payment timing, cancellation deadline, accommodation tax and whether the service you need—especially coin laundry—is actually current.

Use the paid link below when the timed buffet and Exit 4 location suit the itinerary. A lower room-only price is not equivalent when breakfast can sell out, and a breakfast-box rate is not a discounted buffet reservation.
