Before you book
Make these decisions in order.
- 01
Decide whether you want standard Wagyu or the premium Kobe Beef tier before comparing prices; they are not interchangeable names.
- 02
Check the selected Klook package’s drink plan, child price, souvenir, final USD total and cancellation deadline before paying.
- 03
Arrive with a charged smartphone: the official dining flow uses a QR code for side-dish orders.
- 04
Use the JR Electric Town Exit and look for the yakiniku area on BiTO AKIBA’s third floor, not the separate shabu-shabu experience.
- 05
Contact the venue before booking if anyone needs allergen separation, a meat-free meal, step-free access or filming permission.
What to know
The experience is a meat showcase, not a conventional buffet line
Nikuya Yokocho turns meat selection into the main attraction. The official process starts with an assortment of meat and an order ticket at your table. After your group finishes that first platter, take the ticket to the butcher-style showcase and choose additional cuts covered by your course.
Side dishes are also all-you-can-eat, but the official instructions say to order them by scanning a QR code with a smartphone. Drinks are self-service. This mix of table grilling, counter selection and phone ordering is more interactive than simply collecting everything from one buffet.
The selection in the showcase can change with procurement. Book for the course category and the format, not for one cut seen in an old photograph or review.
What to know
Klook currently sells three packages, but only two meat tiers
As checked on July 25, 2026, the English Klook page offers three package labels: 100-minute Wagyu with unlimited soft drinks, 100-minute Wagyu with unlimited alcohol, and 100-minute Kobe Beef. All three currently advertise a special souvenir, selected-date validity, instant confirmation and free cancellation with at least 72 hours’ notice.
The first two are the same Wagyu food tier with different drink plans; they are not two levels of meat. The public Kobe package name does not state which drink plan is included, so open its detailed inclusions at checkout rather than assuming it matches either Wagyu option.
Klook’s visible prices were US$52.69, US$55.85 and US$107.90 respectively when reviewed. Those are dynamic reseller prices affected by date, exchange rate and promotions. Compare the final selected-date total and terms, not these snapshot figures.
- Wagyu plus soft drinks: the practical default for most families and non-drinkers.
- Wagyu plus alcohol: useful only when the unlimited alcoholic-drink option justifies the difference.
- Kobe Beef: a premium choice for travelers specifically seeking Kobe Beef, not simply “better Wagyu” at any price.
What to know
Wagyu and Kobe Beef do not mean the same thing
The standard course focuses on Kuroge Wagyu, or Japanese Black wagyu, and the official page currently describes access to showcase items numbered 6–24. It does not promise that every displayed cut is Kobe Beef.
Kobe Beef is a specifically defined brand selected from Tajima Beef that meets the Kobe Beef Marketing & Distribution Promotion Association’s production and grading conditions. The official Kobe Beef course unlocks all meat in the showcase, but availability of individual cuts can still vary.
Choose the standard Wagyu tier if you mainly want variety and the butcher-counter experience. Choose Kobe only if tasting that named regional brand is an important goal and the large price difference fits your food budget.
What to know
Compare Klook with the official direct prices correctly
The venue’s current tax-included direct prices are ¥7,300 for the Wagyu course with soft drinks and ¥8,300 with alcohol. The Kobe Beef course is ¥15,000 with soft drinks or ¥16,000 with alcohol. These official prices were checked on July 25, 2026.
Klook adds an English prepaid booking flow, a currently advertised souvenir and its own cancellation conditions. Direct booking uses yen and the venue’s reservation rules. Neither channel is automatically cheaper after currency conversion, and the packages are not necessarily identical.
Select your actual date and party first, then compare food tier, drink plan, child pricing, cancellation, souvenir and final total. A temporary direct-only promotion or menu item on the venue’s news page should not be treated as included in a Klook voucher unless the selected package says so.
What to know
The 100-minute limit includes more than eating
The official rule is a 100-minute session with the last food order at 80 minutes. That means you do not have 100 minutes to keep ordering. Seating, the initial platter, grilling and trips to the showcase all use the same limited session.
At one table, everyone must choose the same food course, although the official venue says drink choices may differ. This matters when one person wants Kobe Beef and everyone else wants the standard Wagyu tier: the table cannot simply mix the two food plans.
Finish the starter assortment before requesting more meat, order side dishes before the 80-minute cutoff and avoid collecting more than you can eat. The operator warns that excessive leftovers may incur an additional charge.
What to know
Bring a charged phone and keep the ordering flow simple
The official instructions require a smartphone QR code for side-dish orders. Charge at least one accessible phone before the meal and keep the booking voucher available offline in case mobile reception or the browser becomes inconvenient.
The meat refill itself uses an order ticket at the showcase rather than the side-dish QR flow. Do not lose the ticket or assume every order is placed on the phone. If the QR page, translation or payment status is unclear, ask staff before the last-order cutoff.
Klook’s public page does not specify the exact souvenir. Treat it as a small extra that may change, not as a reason to choose one package or as a guaranteed item described in an old customer review.
What to know
Hours, the August 6 inspection and the Klook conflict
The official current yakiniku hours are 12:00–22:00 on weekdays and 11:30–22:00 on weekends and public holidays, with final admission at 20:00. Closures are irregular and follow the building’s schedule.
For Thursday, August 6, 2026, the operator says the restaurant is scheduled to open at 17:30 because of equipment inspection. Anyone holding or considering a booking on that date should reconfirm the slot with Klook or the restaurant.
Klook’s public redemption section currently displays “last order 21:30,” which does not align with the operator’s 20:00 final admission and 100-minute format. Use the operator’s current notice and your dated voucher as the decision sources; do not plan a walk-in or booking around the reseller’s generic last-order line.
What to know
How to find the correct restaurant in Akihabara
The yakiniku restaurant is on the third floor of BiTO AKIBA at 1-18-19 Sotokanda, Chiyoda City. The operator describes it as about one minute on foot from JR Akihabara Station’s Electric Town Exit and about four minutes from the Tsukuba Express station.
The same location also has a separate shabu-shabu area, and Klook sells shabu-shabu as a different activity. This article and activity 98085 are for yakiniku, where diners grill meat at the table and choose refills from the showcase.
Do not enter the neighboring BiTO AKIBA PLAZA at 1-18-18 by mistake. Save the correct address, 1-18-19, the third floor and the Japanese venue name—和牛放題の殿堂 肉屋横丁 秋葉原店—rather than searching only for “wagyu Akihabara.” Arrive early enough to find the correct area without sacrificing a fixed dining slot.
What to know
Make it the anchor meal in an Akihabara half-day
The one-minute walk from the Electric Town Exit makes this an efficient reserved meal between Akihabara’s electronics, anime, manga and retro-game shops. Browse before the reservation, arrive early for the fixed slot, then choose one nearby place afterward instead of rushing across Tokyo.
Kanda Myojin offers a cultural contrast within walking distance, while 2k540 Aki-Oka Artisan continues north beneath the railway tracks with craft-focused shops. Check each place’s official hours independently; the restaurant booking does not create a fixed itinerary around them.
Allow roughly two hours for arrival, check-in and the 100-minute session. This is self-grilled yakiniku rather than a quiet tasting menu, so wear practical clothing and avoid placing a formal event immediately afterward if cooking odors would be a concern.
What to know
Klook and direct reservations have different cancellation rules
The three current Klook packages each show free cancellation with 72 hours’ notice. The exact deadline, Japan-time interpretation, no-show rule and change process shown for your selected booking govern a Klook purchase.
The venue’s direct-booking FAQ is different: it lists a 50% charge from 00:00 one day before and 100% on the day, and says a reservation more than 15 minutes late without contact may be cancelled and the table reassigned. Those direct terms should not be copied onto a Klook booking.
Save the checkout conditions and voucher. If you are delayed, contact the channel that holds the reservation and the venue as soon as possible rather than assuming the table or 100-minute session will be extended.
What to know
Solo diners and families must verify the selected channel
The official direct reservation system accepts online bookings for groups of two to 20. A solo diner can book online only for weekday lunch; other solo times require a phone call. Klook inventory and minimum quantities can differ, so test the exact date and party size in its selector.
The Japanese official page says children through age 11 receive the direct child rate, with ages five and younger free and ages six to 11 half price. The English line omits the free-under-six detail. Do not assume either direct rate automatically applies to a Klook package—confirm the age bands and quantity rules at checkout.
Because every diner at one table must use the same food course, a family cannot mix the Wagyu and Kobe tiers merely to reduce the total. Confirm how infants, non-eating children and any accompanying guest are counted before payment.
What to know
Allergies, dietary needs and accessibility require advance contact
This is a meat-centered restaurant and a poor default for a mixed vegetarian and meat-eating party. The official pages reviewed do not state halal, kosher, vegetarian or vegan certification or accommodation.
Heijoen publishes a general allergen list, but warns that menus may change and tells guests to ask about unlisted items. It is not a package-specific guarantee of ingredient separation. Travelers with severe allergies should send the exact ingredients and cross-contact needs to the venue before buying a non-refundable booking.
The official venue page does not document a complete step-free route, table clearance or accessible restroom. Do not infer accessibility merely because the restaurant is in a modern building; obtain confirmation for the entire route before paying.
What to know
Grill safely and ask before filming
Guests cook raw meat at the table. Tokyo’s food-safety guidance warns that raw or undercooked meat can cause serious food poisoning and advises thorough cooking. Keep utensils that touch raw meat away from cooked food and ask staff when you are unsure how to handle a cut.
No public filming policy was found on the official venue or Klook pages reviewed. Creators should ask before using tripods, lights, livestreaming or making a commercial shoot, and should not record staff or other diners without permission.
A normal reservation buys a meal, not exclusive access to the showcase or a production location. Plan a compact personal setup that will not block the counter, aisles or another group’s timed meal.
What to know
Use this final booking checklist
Confirm activity 98085, yakiniku rather than shabu-shabu, your date and time, standard Wagyu or Kobe Beef, the drink plan, every guest and the final USD amount.
Then verify child pricing, souvenir wording, the 72-hour cancellation deadline, confirmation method, late-arrival instructions, allergies, accessibility and any on-site extras. If visiting August 6, confirm the equipment-inspection opening before leaving your hotel.
Save the voucher offline, charge the phone needed for QR ordering, map the JR Electric Town Exit to BiTO AKIBA 3F and arrive with enough time to protect the 100-minute session.
A good fit
Put it on your list if...
- Groups of meat eaters who want variety and an interactive showcase
- First-time yakiniku diners who prefer an English prepaid booking flow
- Akihabara visitors who want a planned meal close to the station
- Travelers choosing the Kobe tier for Kobe Beef itself, not just the word Wagyu
Think twice
Skip or reconsider if...
- Slow diners who dislike a firm 100-minute table limit
- Groups that need to mix Wagyu and Kobe food courses at one table
- Vegetarian, vegan, halal or severe-allergy needs without advance confirmation
- Creators assuming a restaurant booking includes commercial filming permission
Booking option
Check the current ticket before paying.
The link opens Klook’s English activity 98085 page with USD selected. Choose the date and compare the full Wagyu soft-drink, Wagyu alcohol and Kobe Beef package details before paying.
- All three current packages advertise free cancellation with at least 72 hours’ notice, selected-date validity, instant confirmation and a souvenir.
- The two Wagyu options differ by drink plan; the Kobe package is a different food tier.
- Confirm what drinks are included with the Kobe package because its public package name does not say.
- Klook child, late-arrival and cancellation rules may differ from the venue’s direct-booking rules.
- Prices, promotions, availability and the souvenir can change after this review date.
