What to know
The hotel is near Dotonbori, not attached to Namba Station
The address is 2-2-5 Higashi-shinsaibashi in Chuo Ward. Klook places the Tombori River Walk and Dotonbori about 300 metres away, while the operator describes Namba and JR-Namba as roughly ten minutes away. Nippombashi and Nagahoribashi stations are each about 500 metres from the hotel on Klook’s current map.
This makes the property strong for late dinners, Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi and Nippombashi. It is less convenient for travelers who want a hotel directly above a railway terminal or a very short suitcase route to the Nankai airport platforms.
“Namba” covers several railway and subway stations spread across a large area. Save the hotel pin and the exact line you will use rather than navigating only to Namba Station.
What to know
The SkySpa is the reason to choose this hotel
The guest-only rooftop SkySpa is free for registered hotel guests and normally remains open from 15:00 until 11:00 the next morning. Both sides have an open-air and indoor bath; the men’s area adds a dry sauna and cold-water bath, while the women’s area has a mist sauna.
Saunas close between 02:00 and 06:00 even while the bathing areas remain open. Bring the bath towel and face towel from your room because towels are not stocked in the SkySpa.
This is a shared public bath, not a private spa appointment and not a guarantee of natural hot-spring water. Book the hotel only if the communal format and bathing etiquette work for you.
What to know
Tattoos are permitted here under the operator’s current rule
Candeo’s official Osaka Namba SkySpa page explicitly says guests with tattoos are welcome. It names Osaka Namba alongside Tokyo Roppongi and Kyoto Karasuma Rokkaku as exceptions where tattooed guests may use the bath.
Generic reseller warnings that some properties restrict tattoos do not accurately describe this hotel’s current published rule. Save the official page in case an automated pre-arrival message repeats a chain-wide warning.
The permission does not remove the other rules: swimwear is prohibited, children still in diapers cannot enter and all children need a parent or guardian. Follow staff instructions and normal shared-bath etiquette.
What to know
One men’s open-air-bath closure is already scheduled
The hotel has announced maintenance from August 31, 2026 at 11:00 until September 1, 2026 at 15:00. During that period, the men’s open-air bath alone is unavailable under the current notice.
The notice does not say that the men’s indoor bath, sauna or women’s facilities close, but operations can change. Guests staying across those dates should ask the hotel what remains open and whether noise or access is affected.
If the outdoor bath is the decisive feature, compare another date or obtain the seller’s written remedy before accepting a non-refundable booking. Recheck the information page before every stay because SkySpa maintenance is irregular.
What to know
Most standard rooms are compact
The Superior Sofa Queen is 16 m² with one 1,600 mm bed. The Superior Sofa Twin is 18 m² with two 1,100 mm beds. Corner and Executive Twin categories generally range from 18 to 20 m², while Deluxe King categories range from 18 to 20 m² with a 2,000 mm bed.
These sizes work for sleeping and a short city stay, but two large open suitcases can materially reduce the usable floor area. A sofa does not mean a separate living room.
Choose by the number and width of beds first, then view and room size. Klook’s room selector and final confirmation must name the same category you researched on the official room page.
What to know
City View must appear in the sold room name
Candeo separately lists Executive Sofa Twin City View, Corner Sofa Twin City View, Deluxe King City View and Executive Deluxe King City View. The same base category without those words should not be treated as a view guarantee.
A high floor, skyline photograph or guest review does not upgrade an unspecified room. Pay the difference only when the final Klook order explicitly includes City View.
The public hotel page does not guarantee a precise direction, landmark or unobstructed panorama within the City View categories. Ask in writing when a specific outlook is essential.
What to know
Three adults need an Executive category that allows three
The standard Queen, Superior Twin, Corner Twin and Deluxe King categories publish a maximum of two adults. Executive Sofa Twin, Executive Sofa Twin City View and Executive Deluxe King City View publish capacity for up to three adults.
The operator describes a slightly elevated sofa in these rooms but does not fully explain the third sleeping setup on the public room page. Confirm whether the selected Klook rate provides a made bed, sofa bed or other bedding for the third adult.
Do not book a two-adult room and add a third guest at reception. Capacity, fire rules, bedding and price must be settled in the reservation.
What to know
The private open-air-bath suite is a different product
The Candeo Luxury Suite has a published 42 m² interior including an 8 m² open-air bath, plus an 8 m² terrace, two 1,200 mm beds, a shower booth and walk-in closet. It accommodates up to two adults and two bed-sharing children.
This is the option for private bathing rather than a larger three-adult room. Confirm privacy, terrace safety, weather use and the precise Klook inclusion before paying; a suite image does not mean a standard room includes a private outdoor bath.
Travelers with mobility or child-safety concerns should ask about thresholds, the terrace and bathing layout. The public description is not an accessibility assessment.
What to know
Child bed-sharing includes fees and missing amenities
The operator permits bed sharing for children under twelve within the room’s published capacity. Ages zero through five are free, but no extra bath towel, toothbrush or nightwear is provided. Ages six through eleven are charged ¥2,200 including tax when sharing a bed. A separate bed is charged at the adult rate.
Klook’s public summary currently says only one child aged twelve or below can share a bed per room, while Candeo’s room table lists capacity for two bed-sharing children in several categories. Resolve the discrepancy for the exact Klook room before payment rather than assuming the more generous rule transfers to every reseller rate.
Children who still wear diapers cannot use the SkySpa. Families booking primarily for the bath should consider whether the in-room bath and supervision plan work for everyone.
What to know
Breakfast has four age bands to price correctly
The buffet runs from 06:30 to 10:00 with last entry at 09:30. The current guest price is ¥2,750 for adults, ¥1,650 for ages six through eleven, ¥1,100 for ages three through five and free under age three. These prices include tax and were checked on July 26, 2026.
The hotel advertises Western and Japanese dishes plus a lacto-ovo vegetarian selection, but there is no separate children’s menu or baby food. Menus can change with ingredient availability.
Check whether the Klook rate includes breakfast for every registered person. A room marketed as breakfast included may still handle bed-sharing children separately.

Add Osaka accommodation tax per person and night
For stays from September 1, 2025, Osaka Prefecture’s accommodation tax is zero below ¥5,000, ¥200 from ¥5,000 to below ¥15,000, ¥400 from ¥15,000 to below ¥20,000 and ¥500 at ¥20,000 or more. The band is calculated per person, per night from the taxable room charge.
Room service charges count toward the taxable accommodation amount, while consumption tax, meals, laundry and parking do not. The rule applies according to the stay date even if the reservation or payment happened earlier.
Check whether Klook collects or merely discloses the tax, and keep a payment method for any amount due at the hotel. Do not apply the full-room total to one person when the official calculation allocates a multi-guest room charge.
What to know
Klook and the hotel disagree about cash
Klook’s current public property summary says cash is not accepted. The hotel’s official FAQ says cash is accepted on site alongside major cards, transportation IC cards and several QR or electronic payments.
This can reflect different stages of the transaction: a Klook rate may be prepaid or card-guaranteed even when the hotel accepts cash for direct stays or local extras. Follow the selected Klook checkout and confirmation instead of using the hotel’s direct-payment list to override it.
Carry a widely accepted card for accommodation tax, parking or incidentals and ask in advance if cash is your only method.
What to know
Late check-in and same-day luggage have limits
Standard check-in begins at 15:00 and check-out is by 11:00. Klook currently publishes check-in before 02:00, but a very late arrival should still be sent to the hotel in advance so the booking is not treated as a no-show.
The hotel can store ordinary luggage only on the day of check-in or check-out. It excludes valuables, fragile items and food. Advance package delivery requires contacting the hotel first; an unannounced shipment may be refused.
Guest rooms do not have a security safe under the official FAQ. Plan how you will protect passports, cash and equipment rather than assuming every city hotel includes one.
What to know
Parking information should be reconciled before driving
The official access page currently lists a 24-hour private mechanical garage at ¥2,800 per night with re-entry after payment. It publishes 22 standard spaces, nine high-roof spaces and one universal space, plus detailed length, width, height and weight limits.
Klook’s current public summary lists ¥3,200 per night. Treat this as a discrepancy to confirm rather than choosing whichever figure is cheaper. Capacity is limited, and a parking icon does not guarantee that the rental car fits.
Measure the complete vehicle, especially height: the official limits are 1,550 mm for standard spaces and 2,050 mm for high-roof spaces. Ask what happens when the garage is full.
What to know
Cancellation belongs to the selected rate
Candeo’s general direct policy for up to nine guests is 50% on the day before arrival, 100% on the arrival day and 100% for a no-show. A direct non-refundable plan remains 100% regardless of when it is cancelled.
Klook can sell different refundable and non-refundable rates for the same room. Its selected rate rule controls a Klook booking, and the booking site—not the hotel’s direct change page—is the first contact for the transaction.
Compare the complete room, guest count, meals, tax, SkySpa access and deadline. Save the room name and cancellation cutoff in Japan time before closing checkout.

Final booking sequence
First, decide whether the SkySpa and Dotonbori location outweigh the ten-minute station walk and compact room. Second, select a room whose adult capacity, bed arrangement and City View wording match the official table. Third, enter every child and confirm bed-sharing and breakfast charges.
Check the maintenance notice, Osaka accommodation tax, payment timing, parking and cancellation deadline before paying. Contact the hotel or Klook in writing about a third bed, late arrival, accessibility or any seller-policy mismatch.
